The Life of Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld
125 years ago, Magnus Hirschfeld – a Jewish, gay German physician (1868–1935) – revolutionized sexology and fought for LGBTQIA+ rights before fascism silenced his work, setting the movement back by decades.
INTERMEDIACY weaves his extraordinary story with the lives of eight modern queer Berliners, uncovering struggles and joys that echo across time.
